Admission Requirements
A Pass in the Undergraduate examination under 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 45% of marks in UG or PG.
Admission to B.Ed.course is based on the subject-wise merit list prepared,givng 50% weightage to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (UG level) and 50% weightage to the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
The candidates seeking admission to one year B.Ed., course should appear for the Common Entrance Test consisting of two papers each of one-hour duration as per the following schedule on 2nd July 2006
The common Entrance Test will be conducted in Pope John Paul II College of Education,Immaculate College of Education,Vetri Venkateswara College of Education,Vivekananda College of Education-Pondicherry,DonBosco College of Education & Research Institute-Karaikal and Regency college of Education-Yanam.If any other Centre is included that will be notified.the Centre in which the candidates have to write their entrance examination will be mentioned in the Hall tickets.

Dear Janet, With B.Com there is no combination of B.Ed since with B.Ed qualification you can teach upto 10th Std & at this level we do not have commerce subjects which is your specialization hence, B.Com does not find a combination with B.Ed

Cut off marks for entry into B.Ed is 45% with relaxation for SC/ST category hence you do not qualify. You can look at alternative Teacher Training courses viz. NTT, PTT, PPTC etc
