Objective: To impart / improve entrepreneurial skills of educated youth enabling them to start ventures or improve their employability in Biotech Enterprises.
Course Contents:
Programme will include topics on Business management, business approvals, regulatory requirements and IPR management for Biotech enterprises, insights into the profiles of contemporary biotech projects and funding feasibilities will be provided by experts with working experience in these areas. Projects to be discussed include- Biofertilizers, Biopesticides, Probiotics, immunodiagnostics, Herbal Extracts, Plant Tissue Culture, Biofuels and Enzymes,
Eligibility: Preferably graduates in Life Science in the age group of 22-40 years

Biotech Consortium India Limited is implementing the programme.
The objective of BITP is to provide an industrial exposure to students to improve job prospects and to help the biotech industry to identify prospective manpower.
Trainees will be paid a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month.
Eligibility
You must be a post-graduate in biotechnology from a recognized institution with a minimum overall aggregate of 60 percent.
You must have passed in 2005 or 2006.
