Birla Institute of Technology Admission open BBA, BCA, & B.Sc. courses
Courses offered: Admission Notification for BBA, BCA, & B.Sc. (A&M)- 2007 at our Extension Centres At Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur and Noida
Eligibility: (1)Maximum age limit is 21 years on 01.10.2007, (26 years for SC/ST)
(2) For BBA: Pass in all subjects in Class 10 with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST). Pass in all subjects in Class 12th equivalent Qualifying Examination (QE) in any stream with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) for Allahabad, Jaipur and Kolkata Extension Centres, and with minimum 70% (50% for SC/ST) for Lalpur and Noida Extension Centres. Marks in Class 10 to be considered as sum of all subjects in which candidate has appeared, and in Class 12 for best 5 subjects.
(3) For BCA: Pass in all subjects in Class 10 with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST). Pass in all subjects in Class 12/QE with Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Practices as one of the subjects with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) for Allahabad. Jaipur and Kolkata Extension Centres, and with minimum 70% (50% for SC/ST) for Lalpur and Noida Extension Centres.
Marks in Class 10 to be considered as sum of all subjects in which candidate has appeared, and Marks in Class 12 to be calculated for best 5 subjects, including Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Practices.
(4) For B.Sc. (A&M): Pass in all subjects in Class 10 and Class 12/QE in any stream, with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) in both Class 10 and Class 12. Marks in Class 10 to be considered as sum of all subjects in which candidate has appeared, and in Class 12 for best 5 subjects.
Application procedure: UG information Brochure -B of 2007 with set of 3 application forms available on payment of Rs. 500/- in person and Rs 600/- by post from our Centres at addresses given below (all payments by crossed Demand Draft in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi)
Postal requests must include letter & two slips of paper (10 x 10 cm) with name, address and phone number. Write UG B – 2007 on the envelope.
With each Brochure candidates will find a set of three application forms (non-transferable). Based on their eligibility, candidates may use each form to apply for one programme at one Place for Study Candidates must send an application fee of Rs 250/- by crossed DD with each completed application form to their choice of Place for Study for that programme, by the date specified.

Selection Procedure: (1) For BBA and BCA: Admission to BBA and BCA will be only on the basis of marks obtained in Class 12 / QE. Counseling will be held at the Extension Centre which is the applicant’s choice of “Place for Study”. (2) For B.Sc. (A & M): Admission to B.Sc.(A & M) will be on the basis of aptitude test cum personal discussions to be held at Noida and Jaipur Extension Centres only, viz choice of “Place for Study”. Candidates appearing for Class 12/QE in 2007 can also apply.They must produce mark sheet of QE at the time of Counseling, along with other documents.
