Admission to first semester 2007-2008 Off-Campus Work-Integrated Learning Programmes
The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, which is deemed to be a University, is an all-India Institute for higher education for men and women and awards its own degrees.
The Institute offers the following off-campus work-integrated learning programmes:

1. B.S. Engineering Technology (ET)
2. B.S. Information Systems (IS)
Normal Duration: 6 Semesters
Eligibility: Employed professionals holding a technical diploma or an undergraduate degree such as BSc with minimum two year relevant experience in Engineering Industries (for ET) or IT Industries (for IS).
3. M.S. Manufacturing Management (MM)
4. M.S. Software Systems (SS)
Eligibility:Employed professionals holding an Integrated First Degree of BITS or equivalent such as BE / MSc with minimum one year relevant experience in Engineering Industries (for MM) and IT Industries (for SS).
5. M.S. Quality Management: This programme conducted in collaboration with Indian Institute of Quality Management (IIQM), Jaipur, designed to enhance the management skills of Quality professionals, has mandatory intensive contact sessions for two weeks at Bangalore / Chennai / Jaipur from July 02 to July 14, 2007 during the first semester, and from January 07 to January 19, 2008 during the second semester. Input requirements: Employed professionals holding an Integrated First Degree of BITS or equivalent such as BE / MSc with minimum one year relevant experience in Quality and allied services.
6. M.Phil. Hospital and Health Systems Management: This programme conducted in collaboration with Bombay Hospital, Mumbai / Indore and Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, designed to enhance the management skills of Healthcare professionals, has mandatory intensive contact sessions for four weeks at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai (from June 25 to July 21, 2007) or at Bombay Hospital, Indore (from July 02 to July 28, 2007) or at CMC, Vellore (from July 02 to July 28, 2007) during the first semester, and at BITS, Pilani (from January 14 to February 09, 2008) during the second semester. Input requirements: Employed professionals holding MBBS degree or its equivalent or an Integrated First Degree of BITS or equivalent such as BE / MSc with minimum one year relevant work experience in well-established healthcare organizations.
Application Procedure
Duly completed application form should be submitted alongwith the requisite processing fee of Rs. 800/- in the form of a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani payable at State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Pilani (Code: 10398) or UCO Bank, Vidya Vihar, Pilani (Code: 0150). In case of demand draft payable at any other bank, a Demand Draft for Rs. 900/-, should be submitted.
