   i have deep interest in astronomyand im looking forward to be an astronaut.Ijust wanted to ask that what are the requirements/eligibility to be an astronaut?can I do a
   diploma in electronics and instrumentationand then go for a Ph.D in astronomy?
   i have given my ssc exam and after that I will be taking up science
   please advice me regarding this

   Hi,
   I have deep interest in astronomy and im looking forward to be an astronaut.I just wanted to ask that what are the requirements/eligibility to be an astronaut?I have given my ssc exam and after that I will be taking up science but I am a bit confused if I should take Bifocal subject like Computer science or regular one with an Option for Geography. I also wanted to know how to go about joining NASA and get a scholarship to do further studies in this field. Do I need to contact forgien university or do an A level course from RIMS (Cambridge) University or the HSC(Science) from Maharashtra is fine to qualify for the above, also needed to know if there are any Indian university that provide the above degree and what percentage is required.

   Please advice me regarding this
