Chemistry should be one of the subjects of study in B.Sc.
Diploma in Leather Goods conducted at CLRI and its Kolkata Regional Centre and Indian Institute of Leather Products (IILP), Chennai.
Diploma in Leather Garments conducted at CLRI and its Jalandhar Regional Centre and IILP.
Diploma in Leather Footwear conducted at CLRI and IILP
P.G.Diploma in Leather Processing conducted only at CLRI, Chennai.
The selection mode will include an Entrance Test, Interview and for candidates with experience in Leather Industry, a trade test. Application form along with prospectus with course details can be had from Head, Centre for Human and Organizational Resources Development (CHORD), CLRI, Adyar, Chennai- 600 020 on request along with self addressed (size 30* 15 cm) envelope with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed and a crossed bank draft drawn in favour of Central Leather Research Institute for Rs.100/- or in person by cash remittance at CHORD, CLRI.
Max. Age: 30 years as on 1.06.2006 (relaxable in deserving cases)
Note: Reservation for SC/ST candidates as per Govt. of India Norms. Women candidates will get preference.
