All India Pre-Medical/Dental Test (AIPMT) is an annual entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) for admission to 15% seats in Medical and Dental Colleges run by Union Government, State Governments, Municipal authorities in India(except for Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh) for Medical and Dental Bachelor courses. Examination Pattern The entrance examination for CBSE-AIPMT consists of two parts – Preliminary Examination and Final Examination. Preliminary Examination : The Preliminary Examination consists of one paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 objective type questions Final Examination : (Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination) The Final Examination would consist of two papers each of 2 hours duration.
