AIPMT-All India Pre-Medical Test All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) . The admission for 15% of the total seats for medical/dental bachelor degree courses in medical colleges run by Union of India, state government, municipal and other local authorities in India except the state of Jammu & Kashmir is made on the basis of AIPMT merit list. As per the revised scheme, the AIPMT examination is conducted in two stages : Preliminary Examination and Final Examination . Final Examination is only for those candidates who has found place
CBSE conducts the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Preliminary Entrance Examination every year on 1st Sunday of April. In the year 2010, the first Sunday falls on 4th April, 2010 which is EASTER SUNDAY. Accordingly, Board decided to fix the date of Preliminary Stage Examination on 11th April, 2010 (Second Sunday). All India Pre-Medical/Dental Test (AIPMT) is an annual entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) for admission to 15% seats in Medical and Dental Colleges run by Union Government, State Governments, Municipal authorities in India(except for Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh) for Medical and Dental Bachelor courses. AIPMT 2010 MBBS/BDS Exam Eligibility: A candidate should be between 17-25 years of age as on December 31st, 2010. There is a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidate. Eligibility The eligibility of candidates for appearing in CBSE – AIPMT is as follows: Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian national. Age: The candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete the same on or before December 31st of the year of admission. Examination Pattern The entrance examination for CBSE-AIPMT consists of two parts – Preliminary Examination and Final Examination. Preliminary Examination : The Preliminary Examination consists of one paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 objective type questions Final Examination : (Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination) The Final Examination would consist of two papers each of 2 hours duration. Paper-1 would contain questions from Physics and Chemistry and Paper-2 would contain questions from Biology (Botany & Zoology). The Final Examination will have conventional (non-objective) questions to be answered in the Test Booklet supplied.
All-India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination 2010. Syllabus The syllabus for Common Entrance Test is as per the 10 + 2 examination of CBSE pattern. Each MCQ consists of a stem and four responses, labelled A, B, C and D. 1. I am a non-pensioner ex-serviceman, holding a discharge book from Corps of Signals, Indian Army. Is my daughter eligible to apply in ex-servicemen quota.
2. My father was also a pensioner ex-serviceman (Late Sub Maj Hon Lt, Rtd. 1969). Will it help my daughter.
3. Which all books will be helpful for her to prepare for the AFMC entrance examination 2010.
