Prospective candidates may obtain Information Brochure-cum-Application/Registration form by post or in person from either of the counters at Accounts office at Main Campus or any of the Extension Centres.

Outstation request for obtaining application form with Information Brochure be sent giving name of the candidate, course name for which seeking admission, Qualification, School / College studying and
complete postal address along with fee in US Dollar or Indian Rupees which is to be sent by Bank Draft favouring Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi. Application material is sent by Courier / Air mail to all such applicants. The forms can also be downloaded from the Institute web site . Such Form must be filled and sent along with application and processing fee through bank draft in favour of Birla Institute of Technology payable at Ranchi.
Conditions required to be fulfilled by candidates seeking admission under NRI or Self Financing Foreign National (SFFS) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Category:
In addition to the minimum educational qualification or equivalent as prescribed for various courses, candidates seeking admission under direct channel of admission must fulfill following conditions in order of preference.
Candidates must be either Son/Daughter of N.R.I./P.I.O./ Foreign Nationals. AND must have Obtained prescribed qualification from school, colleges, located abroad.
OR
Candidates must have stayed abroad at least 5 years during preceding 8 years from the year of admission.
OR
Candidates are citizens of foreign land having pass port issued by a foreign country. These students shall pay prescribed fees in US Dollar or Equivalent.
Candidate have duly valid Certificate indicating PIO status issued by competent authority
Foreign Students (Nominee of Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India against I.C.C.R. Scholarship)
A limited number of seats will be filled by direct admission from the foreign nationals, who fulfill the prescribed eligibility norms. Such students must process their application through the Indian Missions in their respective countries and the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The mode of payment of fees for such foreign students is same as payable by Indian students. These students are directly nominated by ICCR (Indian Council of Cultural Relation, Govt. of India).
Indian Students (Nominees of Ministry of H.R.D., Govt. of India)
A few seats may be filled by nomination received from Ministry of H.R.D. from Indian students including Kashmiri Migrants. These students pay same fees as Indian students.

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture NATA measures aptitude of appilcant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.
