Information About BITSAT

BITS Admission Test is a Computer Based Online test which means that the candidate has to sit in front of a computer which is connected to a server which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer.

BITSAT is offered over a period of time and the candidate can choose the center, the day and time of his / her convenience to take the test.

BITSAT Test Format

BITSAT – BITS Admission Test is an examination of 3 hour duration (without break). A brief analysis of BITSAT test format is tabulated below.

BITSAT : Eligibility

Eligibility Age Limit Age limit for all undergraduate programme where entry qualification is 12th class is 21 years. The upper age limit may be relaxable upto a maximum of five years in exceptional cases only. Educational Qualification For admission to first degree programmes offered at BITS Pilani campus and Goa campus, a candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of the 10+2 system from a recognized Central / State board. Since the medium of instruction at BITS is English, candidates should have adequate proficiency in English. Test Pattern The test hour of the exam is 2 hours. PU-CET : Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern Selection is based on merit in competitive entrance exam in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For qualifying the test 50% marks are required (25% in case of SC/ST, 35% for sports, children/grand children of political sufferers, handicapped, 1984 riot affected).

AFMC : Examination Pattern

Examination Pattern Generally, written test for MBBS courses of AFMC consists of the following pattern  Part Subjects Total Marks I Biology(Botany and Zoology) 50 II Physics 50 III Chemistry 50 IV a) Intelligence, logic and reasoning 25     b) English language and Comprehension 25 Each part comprises of 50 questions of one mark each. For each correct answer 1 mark is awarded. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks is deducted. Use of calculator is not permitted in the examination.
