CAT Common Admission Test

The cat is all set to roll online from Saturday. Through there is a dip in the Never on aspirants Nationality Nearly 50000 Stands are Accepted to take the Cat this Year. Testing will begin at 10 AM and end at 12:30 PM. If you have registered for Session 2 (afternoon session), candidate check-in will commence from 1:30 PM. Candidates are required to arrive at the test centre no later than 2:00 PM. Testing will begin at 3:30 PM and end at 6 PM.

CAT 2009 Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate Should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA)categories], awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

CAT 2009 Pattern
At the test venue, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations.
After the test, candidate must leave the scratch paper at the desk. Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room.

CAT 2009 Test Duration
The duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes including initial 15 minute tutorial.
No breaks will be given during the test.
The test consists of questions that evaluate a candidate’s quantitative, verbal, and logical & data interpretive abilities.
Therefore, there are a total of three sections in the test.
There will be about 60 to 70 questions in the test.

CAT 2009 Results
Results of CAT 2009 for academic year 2010 will declare on Friday, 22 January 2010 onwards
