Syllabus for Aptitude Test B.Arch./B.Planning for All India Engineering Entrance Examination :
Part I Awareness of persons, places, buildings etc. of Architectural importance. Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings. Visualsing different sides of three dimensional objects. Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities and colour. Analytical reasoning Mental ability.
Part II Three dimensional perception. Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony and contrast.
Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil. Transformation of forms both 2D and 3D - union, substraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes; Generation of plan, elevations and 3D views of objects. Creating two dimensional and three dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms.
Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urban-scape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces etc.), landscape (river fronts, jungles, gardens, trees, plants etc.) and rural life.
Note: Candidates are advised to bring pencils, own geometry box set, erasers and colour pencils and crayons for the Aptitude Test.

Introduction
All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is held for the candidates seeking admission to Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Pharmacy degree courses in different engineering colleges and institutes in India. The exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in compliance with the directives of the Government of India (GOI). A centralized counselling system is provided for filling up the available seats all over India. For those unable to appear in AIEEE on scheduled date of examination for any reason, including loss of application form/admit card in transit, no re-examination shall be held under any circumstances. The schedule will remain unaltered even if the date is declared as a public holiday.

Syllabus
The syllabus for Common Entrance Test is as per the 10 + 2 examination of CBSE pattern. Each MCQ consists of a stem and four responses, labelled A, B, C and D. Only one of the responses is correct and for each correct response the candidate will be awarded three marks and for each incorrect response one mark will be deducted from the total score.
Application can either be made ‘Online’ or submitted on prescribed Application Form only.
Information Bulletin containing Application Form can obtain by post from the Assistant Secretary (AIEEE), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, Delhi - 110092 or personally from Regional Offices of CBSE and Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank/other Banks/Designated Institutions (List given in Appendix IV). The Syndicate Bank/other Banks, the designated institutions and Regional Offices of the CBSE will not send the Information Bulletin by Post. Hence, no request should be made to them for sending the Bulletin by Post. Candidate should not buy
On the basis of performance in AIEEE, separate rank lists will be prepared for BE / B Tech and B Arch / B Planning. Score Card indicating All India Rank and State Rank with total marks and marks in each subject shall be sent to all candidates appearing in AIEEE.
Candidates scoring above a certain cut off percentage of marks (being different for General and SC/ST/PH category candidates) to be called for counseling shall be determined at the time of declaration of AIEEE results. Cut off percentage of marks for OBC shall be determined as and when government orders are issued

All disputes pertaining to the conduct of AIEEE shall fall within the jurisdiction of Delhi only. The Secretary of the Board shall be the legal person in whose name the Board may sue or may be sued.
If any person or officer dealing with the conduct of AIEEE engages himself/herself in act(s) that would result in the leakage of the question paper(s) or attempt to use or help in the use of unfair means in this examination, he/she shall be liable to prosecution under the Indian Penal Code.
Central Board of Secondary Education is a self-financing body which meets the Resorting and non-recurring expenditure without any grant-in-aid either from the Central Govt. or from any other source. CBSE is to prescribe conditions of examinations and conduct public examination at the end of Class X and XII to grant qualifying certificates to successful candidates of the affiliated schools.

AIEEE 2010 All India Engineering Entrance Examination
The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) under a National Policy on Education envisage conducting a common entrance examination on all India basis for admission to professional and technical programmes in the country.
Government of India that takes the policy decision to take up All India Engineering Entrance Examination AIEEE every year,
This entrance examination is carried out to minimize the problems arising in front of well-deserving candidates seeking admission in some of the well-reckoned colleges in different corners of the country.
Eligibility For AIEEE 2010 :
The Candidate should have Passed 10+2 Exam with mathematics or equivalent.
Syllabus for AIEEE
The Admit Card will be sent by post to the candidates (including those who made application online) about four weeks before the conduct of the examination. Candidates must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein. In case the Admit Card is not received by 10th April' 2008, Such request be sent to Assistant Secretary (AIEEE), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2 Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj Delhi-110092 with two photographs (as pasted on the Application Form), one should be attested by Principal of the institution where candidate is studying/passed XII or by the Gazetted Officer.

The admission to B.E. programme of BIT, Mesra Ranchi is AIEEE based & through CCB.
Minimum qualification is a pass at I.Sc. / (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology/Biotechnology in case of BE-Biotechnology). Candidate must to take AIEEE Examination no need to fill the form of BIT, unless notification
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to appear in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination.
Age Limit: The candidates whose age lies between 16-24 years of age on the first day of October of the year of examination. Schedule cast (SC), schedule tribe (ST) and physically handicapped (PH) candidates has been given 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate is considered as authentic.

a. The 10+2 level examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary
AIPMT-All India Pre-Medical Test
All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) . The admission for 15% of the total seats for medical/dental bachelor degree courses in medical colleges run by Union of India, state government, municipal and other local authorities in India except the state of Jammu & Kashmir is made on the basis of AIPMT merit list.
As per the revised scheme, the AIPMT examination is conducted in two stages :
Preliminary Examination and Final Examination .
Final Examination is only for those candidates who has found place

The Central Counseling Board shall send by post the Information Brochure for Counseling only to the candidates to be called for counseling.
