What is new this year?

1. The rank list for Medical & Dental courses will be published only in respect of candidates who secure 50% of marks taken together in PCB subjects in both qualifying examination and the Common Entrance Test. (40% in case of SC, ST, Cat - 1 & OBC category candidates.)

2. The rank list for Medical & Dental courses will be prepared and published only on the basis of marks secured by candidates in PCB subjects in the Common Entrance Test.

3. The candidates who secure less than 50% of marks taken together in PCB subjects in the Common Entrance Test, will not be awarded any rank for admission to Medical & Dental courses. (40% in case of SC, ST, Cat - 1 & OBC category candidates.)

4. The rank list for Indian System of Medicine & Homoeopathy courses will be published only in respect of candidates who secure 50% of marks taken together in PCB subjects in the qualifying examination, irrespective of marks secured in PCB subjects in the Common Entrance Test. (40% in case of SC, ST, Cat - 1 & OBC category candidates.)

5. The rank list for Engineering & Technology courses will be published only in respect of candidates who secure 45% of marks taken together in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination, irrespective of marks secured in PCM subjects in the Common Entrance Test. (40% in case of SC, ST, Cat - 1 & OBC category candidates.)

6. The rank list for Architecture course will be published only in respect of candidates who secure 50% of marks taken together in all subjects in the qualifying examination and 40% of marks taken together in both Part – I & II of the Aptitude Test.

7. The candidates who secure less than 40% of marks taken together in both Part – I & II of the Aptitude Test, will not be awarded any rank for admission to Architecture course.

8. There will be no negative evaluation in respect of wrong and multiple answers in both the Common Entrance Test and Aptitude Test.

CET- Karnataka : Application Form

Application Form Candidates who have studied or studying their 2nd PUC or 12th standard in educational institutions within Karnataka should get their brochure with application forms by submitting a demand draft of the requisite amount to the Principals of the institutions in which they had studied or studying or appeared for the 2nd PUC or 12th standard examination. The Principals of all the Schools and Colleges in Karnataka teaching 2nd PUC or 12th standard including CBSE & CISCE syllabi have been requested to collect the filled application forms and forward the same to the CET Cell both from freshers & repeater students.

Application Form Candidates who have studied or studying their 2nd PUC or 12th standard in educational institutions within Karnataka should get their brochure with application forms by submitting a demand draft for Rs.550/- to the Principals of the institutions in which they had studied or studying or appeared for the 2nd PUC or 12th standard examination. (Rs. 400/- in case of SC / ST / Category-1 candidates.)
