Test Pattern
The CET is a 2½ hour objective test with multiple choice answers. The total marks for the written test is 200. The questions are an assorted variety, where the question types are distributed across the question paper.

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: Passages with
questions based on the passage to test your comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms, Comprehension, Choice of Appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills
Quantitative Aptitude: Numbers, arithmetic Problems, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts, etc.
Logical /Abstract Reasoning: Questions based on figures/diagrams and also questions on verbal reasoning.

Combined Aptitude Test, Maharashtra

Test Pattern
Common Entrance Test / MH – ENG – ASSO – CET consists of 3 papers.
Physics – 50 Marks
Chemistry – 50 Marks
Mathematics – 100 Marks
The medium of Question Paper is English only. The syllabus in physics, chemistry and mathematics is similar to that of HSC examination board Maharashtra.

Dirtectorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai, Maharashtra conducts an entrance examination for admission in various post graduate dental streams offered by Dental Colleges in Maharashtra. The admission is made on the basis of PGDCET conducted by D.M.E.R., Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Health Science Courses
Government of Maharashtra conducts a single stage Combined Common Entrance Test for selection to all degree courses in Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, BVSc.& AH and Engineering courses under Govt./ Corporation /Govt. Aided Colleges and Govt. Quota in Private colleges. The entrance test is called Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET).
The Competent Authority for the conduct of MHT-CET (Maharashtra Combined Common Entrance Test) examination is Director, Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai, Maharashtra.
However, for the selection process there are two separate Competent Authorities. Director, Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai is the Competent Authority for selection to Health Science courses.
