Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), Delhi University

The University of Delhi conducts a Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission to first Semester of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree courses. The CEE is held for Delhi region candidates only. The candidates who has passed / passing the qualifying examination from School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi can appear for CEE. The candidates who stand out in merit list of CEE will be eligible to take admission into B.E. degree courses of Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) New Delhi and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) New Delhi.

85% seats are reserved for the students of Delhi in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT). However, 15% seats in both the colleges are filled by the outside Delhi candidates.

Outside Delhi candidates are need to appear and stand in merit of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) to take admission either in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) New Delhi, or Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT) New Delhi.

Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) has produced over the past 63 years, approximately 23,000 graduates and post-graduates in engineering and technology. It has attained a level of maturity to amply qualify for being made a Deemed University. The Cabinet Committee of Govt. of Delhi has approved the Deemed to be University status to DCE and the proposal is under active consideration of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India.

Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT) New Delhi formerly known as Delhi Institute of Technology (DIT) New Delhi is also an institution of national importance. The institute offers under graduate, post graduate and research programs in different engineering and scientific & technological disciplines.

Examination Centres The centre of examination for Combined Engineering Entrance (CEE) is National Capital Territory of Delhi only.

CEE, Delhi : Eligibility

Eligibility Age: A candidate must be of 17 years of age on or before 1st October of the year of examination. Educational Qualification:A candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination from the recognized School / College / institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50 % or more marks for candidates belonging to CW (Defense / Physically Handicapped category). The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply
