    The fee structure cse is still peding in the supreme court. The students of the 2004-05 batch are about to complete their course.Will the Karnataka govt will press for a judgement in the supreme court.

    The 2004-05 mbbs students of comed k have paid @ 370000 per year much higher than the fees committee recomendations. Sincethe case is before the supreme cout now pending for more than 5 years thousands of students expect a fair deal before their course is over in a few months from now

    It is hightime that the Union minister Sri Anbumani Ramdoss should intervene in the comed k mbbs fee structure case pending before the supreme court and bring relief to thousands of students eagerly waiting for the judgement

    The comed k mbbs students of 2004,2005 batches were asked to pay 3,70000 per year as fees. Individual students who approached the courts were exempted from remitting the final year fees pending judgement from supreme court. Is it fair on the part of Govt of karnataka to allow the managements to go scot free and leave the burden of allowing getting the order by every student .

    Can anyone from karnataka govt or comed k or supreme court clarify where the comed k mbbs 2004 and 2005 case stands. This will enable the students to understand the case better. It is really sad to know that the case is pending for more than 5 years. The
    Govt should take a stand that no future admission be made without finalising the fees.

    Regarding the fees payable for mbbs course under comed k there are two two fee fixation committee reports one by sri rangavittalachar and the other by the state govt. But private managements are prolonging the cae formore than 5 years in the supreme court to get higher fees from the students. Only the central health ministry shoud intervene and see that no future admission be made without getting a judgement. It may be noted here that fees for 2007-08 and 2008-09 are lower than 2004-2005 and 2005-06

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka -(COMEDK UGET) The consortium is a unit established by the Karnataka Private Medical / Dental Colleges Association. Only those colleges which are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognised by the Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India are eligible for the membership of COMEDK.
