Federations of Hotels and Restaurents Association of India (FHRAI)
The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India FHRAI, is the apex industry association at national level of all hotels and restaurants in India which is equivalent to FICCI, CII or ASSOCHAM for the national hospitality industry. The four Regional Associations and many state-level Associations of hotels and restaurants are affiliated with FHRAI. In addition, there are about 3000 direct members, including hotels, restaurants and associate members (suppliers, and other hospitality industry-related establishments). The member hotels include all 5-star deluxe, 5-star, 4-star and 3-star properties, alongside hotels of other categories, and representing all national and international chains present in the country.
FHRAI was founded in 1955 and celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2005 - an appropriate occasion to inaugurate its Institute of Hospitality Management.
The FHRAI Institute is located on plot No. 45, Knowledge Park-III, Greater Noida, U.P. It has been constructed on a site of 6.28 acres. The architects for the project are Achal Kataria Architects, New Delhi. Knowledge park-III is becoming a hub of educational institutions including engineering colleges, medical colleges, management institutes etc.
Different programs are offered in FHRAI in the field of hotel administration and management, for which the admissions are done through the entrance exams.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (K-MAT)
The Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges' Association (KPPGCA) conducts the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (K-MAT) every year to admit students into the management quota MBA seats in 50 self-financing private colleges across the State of Karnataka. The Association is conducting K-MAT Common Entrance Test for facilitating admission into MBA and MCA Programs offered by affiliated colleges of various Universities in Karnataka under management quota. The Association currently has 48 affiliated colleges of various Universities in Karnataka as Members.

Educational Qualification:
Passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of backward class candidates from Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized By the Association of Indian Universities.

Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any Discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
Age limit:
There is no age limit for admission to first year of two year post graduate degree course in Management viz. MBA / MMS.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
Management Aptitude Test –MAT is a popular national entrance test among the management aspirants. This test is conducted by the Centre for Management Services (CMS) of All India Management Association (AIMA). Institutes offering PG program in management and allied subjects generally participate in this exam. All management institutes that participate in MAT are either AICTE (All Indian Council for Technical Education) approved or affiliated to universities. Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to appear in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination.
Age Limit: The candidates whose age lies between 16-24 years of age on the first day of October of the year of examination. Schedule cast (SC), schedule tribe (ST) and physically handicapped (PH) candidates has been given 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate is considered as authentic.

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka -(COMEDK UGET)
The consortium is a unit established by the Karnataka Private Medical / Dental Colleges Association. Only those colleges which are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognised by the Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India are eligible for the membership of COMEDK. The consortium will conduct the Common Entrance Test on behalf of management who are its members for admission to professional courses.
For admission to BDS course, the candidates are required to appear for the COMEDK UGET being conducted by COMEDK.
