Eligibility
Anyone and everyone is eligible for taking the GMAT - there are no restrictions based on age or qualifications. The test scores are valid for five years, i.e., most universities accept scores up to five years old. But it is always better if your scores are recent (not older than 2 years).

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
Introduction -
Graduate Management Admission Test - GMAT is a standardized test, primarily intended to aid graduate schools of business for advanced study in Business and Management. The test is a required part of the admission process for most MBA programmes in the US, Canada and the rest of the world. It is intended to help the graduate schools of business assess the potential of applicants for advanced study in business and management.

Tentative Dates
GMAT is now computer adaptive tests and can be taken all round the year. To schedule a date to take any of these tests, contact the Regional Registration Centre. September to December is the high season for GMAT, so in case you intend to take the test during this period, you need to register very early (say 90 days in advance) to get a date of your choice. Otherwise, registering at least 15 days in advance is mandatory. The test lasts roughly four hours, and most centres offer two slots: 9 A.M. and 2 P.M.

CAT Test – CAT is generally held in the month of November

The eligibility conditions for getting admissions into various programs in ISB, Hyderabad are as given under:
For Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent, preferably two years of full-time post qualification work experience
A valid GMAT/GRE/CAT* Score. TOEFL score, if you are an overseas student and English is not the primary language of instruction in your country
Note:
GRE and GMAT scores of the last five years are valid
CAT* scores obtained since 2002 will be considered
Applicants applying with earlier year's CAT scores are advised to submit their application preferably before the first cycle deadline of November 1, 2005

Hi all,
please guide me the eligibility pattern for most of the reputed colleges for intake of executive mba. i have 2 years of work-ex and i fear they may ask for company sponsorship which most reputed companies do not provide. can anybody help me if company sponsorship is required or can i leave the company and join the MBA program. your guidance is highly appreciated
