ELIGIBILITY Age: 17 yrs on 31 December of the year of admission. Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Sr. Sec with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology securing 50% (40% for SC/ST) aggregate marks. Candidates with B.Sc/ B.VSc/ B.Sc (Nursing)/ M.Sc qualifications securing 50% aggregate marks are eligible; they should have passed the qualifying exam (12th class) with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates, whose results are awaited, can also apply. Candidates should be medically fit.

Programme of Action (PoA), 1992 under the National Policy on Education (NPE), 1986 envisaged conduct of a common entrance examination on all India basis for admission to professional and technical programmes in the country.
