The examination also tests visualization, creativity, design and general awareness, and comprehension.

Aspiring candidates can get application form either in person or by post on submission of requisite amount of application fee. Eligibility Eligibility criteria for admission into different post graduate designing programmes at IITs and IISc.A candidate must have completed 10+2+4 years of study or higher. But different institutes have different criteria for admission, which is given below in brief. Educational qualification For M.Des. in Product Design and Engineering at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design or Architecture. Educational qualification for M.Des. in Industrial Design at IDC, lIT Bombay Minimum 55% of marks are required in any of the following areas.
