Pattern of Examination GATE entrance examination is single paper of 3 hours duration and of 150 marks. The question paper is in English only. Tentative Dates GMAT is now computer adaptive tests and can be taken all round the year. To schedule a date to take any of these tests, contact the Regional Registration Centre. September to December is the high season for GMAT, so in case you intend to take the test during this period, you need to register very early (say 90 days in advance) to get a date of your choice.
