Pattern of Examination
Question Papers for IIT-JEE:The examination consists of three separate papers in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, each of two hours duration. The questions in these papers are objective type, which are to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using HB pencils only. There is negative marking for Incorrect answers
Language of Question Papers for IIT-JEE: A candidate can opt for Question Papers either in English or in Hindi.
Use of calculators and log tables is NOT permitted in IIT-JEE.
Aptitude Test for B. Arch. and B. Des. Courses: The candidates called for counselling and desirous of joining the B. Arch. and B. Des. Courses are required to qualify in an Aptitude Test conducted at each counselling Institute. The test is of two hours duration Candidates who fail in the Aptitude Test are not eligible for admission to either B. Arch. or B. Des. Courses.

Scheme / Pattern of All India Competitive Examination
All India Competitive Examination (AICE) of ICAR consists of only one question paper consisting Objective type questions. The question paper is bilingual i.e. English and Hindi.
For stream A, the subjects composition is Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Agriculture.
For stream B, the subjects combination is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
A candidate can choose any of the stream depending upon his / her subject of choice and eligibility.

Each part comprises of 50 questions of one mark each. For each correct answer 1 mark is awarded. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks is deducted. Use of calculator is not permitted in the examination.
