Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) is an autonomous institution with the mandate of contributing to the professional management of rural organisations. It was founded in 1979 at the initiative of the National Dairy Development Board, the support of Government of India ,Government of Gujarat and Swiss Development Co-operation. Ever since inception IRMA has been working closely with Co-operatives, NGOs, Governments, and National and International agencies.
IRMA’s mission is to promote professional management of democratic and sustainable institutions for eco-friendly and equitable socio-economic development of Rural people. IRMA offers different Rural Management courses with its mission statements:

Eligibility
The eligibility conditions of the candidates who would intend to get admission through Gujarat-CET are as mentioned here:
Candidates who have graduated in a degree course of minimum 3 years’ duration from a University out side Gujarat State but have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a school located in Gujarat State is eligible to appear for GCET.
Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. In case of SC/ST candidates 5% relaxation is given as per rules. 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) will be computed on the basis of grand total in final year mark
