Medical Entrance Exam for BHU 2008
Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conduct competitive written test for the admission to MBBS courses in two stages. It has total of 55 seats. The two exams are as follows :
PMT/PAT-2008 for screening and PMT 2008 mains after that.
BHU Institute of Medical Science (IMS) also conduct B. Pharm. course admission test. PMT/PAT-2008 Screening has 25 seats.
Date of Examination for BHU Medical Admission Test :
PMT/PAT-2008 screening : 7th May 2008 Wednesday at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata, and Hyderabad Centres, to screen candidates for eligibility to take PMT-2008 MAIN examination for MBBS course. Date : 15th June, 2008 Wednesday at Varanasi Centre only.
For B. Pharm. course, candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the PMT/PAT-2008 SCREENING.
Eligibility :
Intermediate, 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply.
