Pattern of Examination The NIT MCA Common Entrance Test – NIMCET for admission to MCA courses at different NITs consists of 120 objective type questions. The duration of test is 2 ½ hours. Each correctly marked answer carries 4 marks and each wrongly marked answer attracts penalty of -1 mark. The final merit list of candidates for counseling and admission to MCA program is prepared on the basis of Common Entrance Test.
