Eligibility
Nationality/Domicile: The applicant should be a citizen of India and a bonafide (Permanent) resident of the State of Uttar Pradesh .
Age: The Candidate must have attained 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification: The Candidate should have passed or appeared/appearing in 10+2 / Intermediate (12th) of UP Board or any other Board / University or an equivalent examination with Physics Chemistry and Biology. For more details refer to information brochure.

Reservations of the seats
(a) In each college and in each
ourse 19% of the total no. of seats
shall be reserved for SC, 4% for ST and 14% for OBC category of candidates.
(b) In each College and in each Course, horizontal reservation of 2% of total seats in that category, shall be reserved for dependants of freedom fighters, 2% for sons and daughters of defence personnel died or disabled in war, 3% for physically handicapped and 20% for women candidates.

Eligibility
Nationality/Domicile: The applicant should be a citizen of India and a bonafide (Permanent) resident of the State of Uttaranchal.
Such applicants, who are not the bonafide (permanent) resident of Uttaranchal State but have passed the qualifying examination or have appeared/appearing for the qualifying examination from a recognized educational institution situated in Uttaranchal State, will be eligible for the U.P.M.T examination. However, such candidates will not be eligible or entitled for any type of reserved seats, under any circumstances.
Age: The Candidate should be 17 years on or before December 31 on the year of the admission.
Educational Qualification: The Candidate should have passed or appeared/appearing in Intermediate Science (Biology group) (10+2) with English and should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate as well as 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the percentage of above mentioned marks will be 40% in place of 50%.
Those candidates who have passed or appeared in the Madhyama Examination with Science subjects from Sampoornanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi, are eligible for admission to BAMS course only.
For BAMS/BHMS course, the minimum eligibility of marks in the qualifying examination shall be 35%.

Additional Information
Candidates from outside Tamil Nadu : As per University stipulations, the candidates from outside Tamil Nadu should apply to the university for registration in the prescribed form, within a period of 15 days from the date of their admission.
Admission Counseling Desk
During the month of admission, an admission counselling desk will operate from Monday through Saturday at the registered office of the University. The purpose of this arrangement is to disseminate information to the students and parents on admission procedures and on the choice of branch of study.
Details of application, the admission criteria, written tests etc. will be discussed with students in order to clarify their doubts, if any. An admission council will counsel students not only on admission procedures, but also on the choice of their course of study that would suit them in accordance to their qualifications, merit and aptitude.
This process would help the students and their parents to make appropriate decisions on the career of the students.

Application Procedure
Prospects and Application Forms for All India Common Entrance Examination may be obtained from the Registrar by Post by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.675/- (Rupees six hundred and seventy five only) drawn in favour of “Registrar, Sri Ramachandra Medical college and Research Institute (Deemed University), Chennai - 116. Or in person by paying Rs.600/- (Rupees six hundred only) at the university office.
It is in the interest of the applicants that they carefully read all the instructions given in the application form and adhere to the same strictly without any discrepancy or omission. Every application should be submitted with necessary documents. Incomplete application and failure to append the stipulated documents may lead to delays and in some circumstances, to possible rejection.
It is essential to fill in the application with correct details. In the event of furnishing incorrect information:
1. He/She will forfeit the admission irrespective of what stage of the course he / she is in at that point of time when it is detected.
2. He / She will be debarred from pursuing any course of study.
3. Legal action will be instituted against him / her for furnishing wrong information.
