Eligibility
Age: For admission to Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy / Yoga courses, have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.
Educational Qualification: For Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy / Yoga courses, have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std. or equivalent exam with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY as optional subjects with ENGLISH as one of the languages of study and obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group. 40% in the case of SC / ST / Category-1 candidates provided that for Dental course, the candidate must have secured 50% marks in the optional subjects including English subject.

Exam Pattern
The test is conducted at Pondicherry and consists of 80 objective type questions in Physics & Chemistry and 10 questions in Biology (Zoology & Botany). The result is notified in leading newspapers and displayed in the College.
Merit in JET and marks obtained in the qualifying exam; both of them are given equal weightage.

Application Procedure
Application form along with the information bulletin can be obtained from the notified branches of Canara Bank in Pondicherry on cash payment of Rs. 250 (Rs. 50 for SC/ST candidates).
Application form can also be obtained by post by sending a self-addressed and stamped (Rs. 15) envelope of size 25*18 cm along with a crossed demand draft of Rs. 250 in favour of the “Convener, CENTAC” payable at Pondicherry. Completed applications should reach the Convener, CENTAC, Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry 605014 by the notified date.

Reservation of Seats
75% / 85% of seats is reserved for Pondicherry residents and remaining from other parts of India. 75 per cent (HSC Academic) / 85 per cent (HSC Vocational) of seats are reserved for Pondicherry residents and remaining 25 per cent / 15 per cent seats are for candidates from other parts of the India.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Candidate must has passed HSC (Academic) exam conducted by the board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or its equivalent in first attempt securing 50% marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. (Improvement marks are not considered).

Criteria for Domicile (For Pondicherry candidates)
1. 5 yrs stay in Pondicherry.
2. Passed SSLC/HSC and had for that purpose undergone academic studies continuously for 3 successive classes immediately preceding the qualifying exam located in the UT of Pondicherry and having their residence in Pondicherry for 3 yrs.
Exceptions: Children of Central/State Government employees/Public Sector Undertaking serving in Pondicherry; French nationals residing in the UT of Pondicherry.
