Domicile Requirement

A candidate willing to write UPSEE has to fulfill any one of the following mentioned domicile requirement. These requirement and restrictions are in accordance with the Gazette of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, India Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution / school / college located within the state of Uttar Pradesh and who do not claim any sort of reservation.

Reserved category candidates (SC / ST / OBC etc) who claims reservation and passed qualifying examination from a school / college located in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates who have passed qualifying examination from a school / college located outside UP and whose parents or guardians are domicile of Uttar Pradesh.

Children of armed personnel’s and all India services employees belonging to UP cadre are eligible for admission even if they originally belongs to a state other than UP.

Application Form

Application form for UPSEE can be purchased on submitting requisite amount of fee between January to March every year. Candidates can get application forms for UPSEE from

Eligibility

Educational Qualification
1. A pass in 10 + 2 of Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan or any other examination recognized as equivalent to 10 + 2 of Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan by Board of Technical Education Rajasthan is a primary requirement for appearing in RPETEAP entrance examination.
2. Following mentioned subjects combination is mandatory for admission into B.E. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm. / D.Pharm. Courses :-

A Candidate appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply for appearing into RPETEAP entrance examination, provided he / she will furnish the pass certificates of qualifying examination during the time of admission.

Age

A candidates’ age should not be less than 16 years and more than 23 years on 1st October of the year of RPETEAP examination. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years in case of SC / ST category candidates.

Test Pattern

Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy (RPETEAP) shall consists of following papers (in Hindi and English both languages).

Subject combination for each paper, type of questions and total marks in each paper are given in the table below :

* If a candidate is applying for Engineering / Architecture along with Pharmacy then for Pharmacy he / she will has to select Mathematics (Paper – 2) along with other papers.

No. of Seats / Reservations

The accurate number of seats available under various branches of different institutions will be notified on official website of RPETEAP during the time of admission. Except in case of unaided Private Institutions and 50% seats in the self-finance courses of the aided institutions, the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory provisions i.e. as per relevant rules and regulations of Govt. of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates and 21% for candidates belonging to OBC category.

Horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates belonging to physically handicapped, 25% for women category and 3% for dependents of Defence Killed / Ex-Servicemen will also be made. Reservation Policy can be changed as per Govt. Instructions.

Domicile Requirement

Candidates seeking admission to B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm. / D.Pharm. program in any of the colleges / technical institution of Rajasthan through RPETEAP entrance examination has to fulfill the following Domicile Requirements-

A candidate or any of his / her biological guardian is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan.

OR
A candidate has passed qualifying examination from an institution of Rajasthan and has studied for the last three preceding years in an institution of Rajasthan.

OR
Candidate is a son /daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of any of the following :

Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service borne on the State cadre of Rajasthan).

Undertakings/ Corporations/ Improvement Trusts/ Municipal Boards/ Panchayat Samities / Co-operative Bodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan.

Statutory Bodies and Corporations formed under the Indian Companies Act incorporated in Rajasthan.

OR
Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of any of the Universities in Rajasthan or Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or Government Engineering Colleges at Bhilwara, Kota, Ajmer and Bikaner, who has put in at least three years service on the date of submission of application in any of the above bodies.

OR
Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of Central Government or Institutions of the Central Government including Public Sector Undertakings or Corporations and who is on the regular rolls and is serving in the State of Rajasthan on the date of the application.

OR
Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of Rajasthan origin, serving in Defence/Central Government services/Public Sector undertakings/National Institutes of Government of India, who has put in at least three years service on the last date for submission of application irrespective of his/her place of posting provided a certificate is submitted by the employee from the employer to this effect stating the State of origin and the home town as given by him/her at the time of his/her entry of service.

Note :-
Ex-Servicemen (Ex-S) and the Defence Killed (DK) persons should be of Rajasthan origin for eligibility of their children for admission into technical courses in the colleges / institutes of rajasthan through RPETEAP. The State of origin and home town as entered in the discharge certificate shall only be accepted as proof in respect of the above. The discharge certificate and PPO must be produced in original at the time of Reporting to Institutes.

Sons/daughters of the displaced persons from Jammu & Kashmir (KM) shall be eligible for admission to Engineering / Architecture / Pharmacy Colleges through RPETEAP. The candidate has to submit a certificate from the competent authority as a proof of being son/daughter of displaced person from Jammu & Kashmir.
