Test Pattern

Written Test consists of 100 objective types questions with multiple choices and time duration of test is 90 minutes.

Normally, there are 40 questions from Mathematics, 20 from Physics, 20 from Chemistry & 20 from Reasoning.

Every question with correct/best answer is given 1.0 point/score and every question with wrong answer is given -0.33 point.

Syllabus

The syllabus for Maths, Physics & Chemistry will be on the lines of MH Engg. CET. For “Reasoning” the student may read “Logical Reasoning question Bank” availble in Bookstalls

Management Seats

Management seats are filled on the basis of the composite Merit List after the Regular Seats have been filled. The candidates who fail to get admission in the general category but interested in seeking admission under management category should make an application to that effect. Interview

Normally, personal interview is conducted at NMIMS premises at Mumbai. The interview is of 75 marks. The candidates ability in “Communication Skills, Commitment, General Awareness, Personality traits etc.” is tested for which 75 marks are awarded. 25 marks are also given for the marks obtained in HSC examination.

Eligibility

Eligibility for MH – ENG – ASSO – CET

A candidate should have passed / appeared in the HSC ( std. 12th ) examination from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Admission to Bio-Medical / Bio-Tech Engg. Courses

Candidates seeking admission to Biomedical / Bio-Tech Engineering course should have passed in the subject of Biology in the qualifying examination in addition to fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility criteria.

Test Pattern

Common Entrance Test / MH – ENG – ASSO – CET consists of 3 papers.

Physics – 50 Marks

Chemistry – 50 Marks

Mathematics – 100 Marks

The medium of Question Paper is English only. The syllabus in physics, chemistry and mathematics is similar to that of HSC examination board Maharashtra.
