PIMS-AICET : Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern

For the admissions to the above courses for the academic year 2005-06, they will conduct AICET on Saturday, 30th April, 2005.

The AICET-2005 will be of three hours duration. There will be one question paper for the CET consisting 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ’s), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking.

Eligibility Criteria for Appearing for AICET Nationality: Candidates must be Indian National. The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality. Age: The candidate must be either of 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31 December on the year of the admission. Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed H S C (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with English securing minimum 50 % marks (40 % for candidates belonging to Backward class.) in aggregate of the subjects namely Physics,

PIMS-AICET : Selection Process

Selection Process The candidate who satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS/B.P.Th./B.Sc. Nursing courses according to AICET merit list and would be offered admission to these courses on the basis of their inter-se-merit at the time of counselling. Medical Fitness Certificate Candidate, if selected, will have to undergo Medical Fitness Test, before Medical Board of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni and submit Medical Fitness Certificate duly signed by Medical Superintendent. Pravara Rural Hospital within seven days from the date of selection, failing which his/her admission may lead for cancellation and forfeiting of fees paid.

Documents The candidates are required to produce the original copies of the following documents along with two sets of their photocopies. In case the candidate has submitted original documents to some other institute, he should bring a letter from Head of that Institute certifying submission of documents to that institute. 1. PU-CET : Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern Selection is based on merit in competitive entrance exam in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For qualifying the test 50% marks are required (25% in case of SC/ST, 35% for sports, children/grand children of political sufferers, handicapped, 1984 riot affected).

JET-Pondicherry : Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern The test is conducted at Pondicherry and consists of 80 objective type questions in Physics & Chemistry and 10 questions in Biology (Zoology & Botany). The result is notified in leading newspapers and displayed in the College. Merit in JET and marks obtained in the qualifying exam; both of them are given equal weightage.
