Selection Process
The candidate who satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS/B.P.Th./B.Sc. Nursing courses according to AICET merit list and would be offered admission to these courses on the basis of their inter-se-merit at the time of counselling.
Medical Fitness Certificate
Candidate, if selected, will have to undergo Medical Fitness Test, before Medical Board of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni and submit Medical Fitness Certificate duly signed by Medical Superintendent. Pravara Rural Hospital within seven days from the date of selection, failing which his/her admission may lead for cancellation and forfeiting of fees paid.

Exam Pattern
For the admissions to the above courses for the academic year 2005-06, they will conduct AICET on Saturday, 30th April, 2005.
The AICET-2005 will be of three hours duration. There will be one question paper for the CET consisting 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ's), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking.
Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences -Deemed University PIMS-AICET
Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences was given a status of Deemed University from 29th September, 2004 by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India on the advice of UGC under section (3) of UGC Act 1956.
The Institute has emerged as an alternative to traditional medical and health care programs through internationalisation, innovation in academic and research studies and attained Deemed University status in 2003.
There are five main study programs with in the PIMS: medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, nursing, and para-medical (medical laboratory technology, x-ray technology, dental technology, and dental hygiene).
Eligibility Criteria for Appearing for AICET
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian National. The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall constitute proof of Nationality.
Age: The candidate must be either of 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31 December on the year of the admission.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed H S C (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with English securing minimum 50 % marks (40 % for candidates belonging to Backward class.) in aggregate of the subjects namely Physics,

The candidate must secure minimum 50% marks in AICET conducted by Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences

Based on the scores in CAT / GMAT candidates will be short-listed for the admission into Management program in TAPMI and invited to participate in the subsequent TAPMI Admissions Process (Group discussion and Personal Interview) to be held at four different cities of the country Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Manipal. CAT is used only for short-listing the candidates and it is not the final step of admission procedure in the Institute. IIM has no role in the selection process or conduct of the PGDM program. Final Selection will be based on performance in the TAPMI Admissions Process.

The candidates are required to produce the original copies of the following documents along with two sets of their photocopies.
In case the candidate has submitted original documents to some other institute, he should bring a letter from Head of that Institute certifying submission of documents to that institute.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a common written test required for the admission processes of Symbiosis Post Graduate Institutes. It is a mandatory test for admission into any PG program in Symbiosis. This test being the first step towards admission, each Symbiosis Institute has its own selection procedure. However, it is only the first step of the admission procedures of Symbiosis. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process.
This test is held in more than twenty cities all over India and the score of the SNAP Test is used to shortlist candidates for individual selection

MHT-CET
Health Science Courses
Government of Maharashtra conducts a single stage Combined Common Entrance Test for selection to all degree courses in Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, BVSc.& AH and Engineering courses under Govt./ Corporation /Govt. Aided Colleges and Govt. Quota in Private colleges. The entrance test is called Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET).
The Competent Authority for the conduct of MHT-CET (Maharashtra Combined Common Entrance Test) examination is Director, Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai, Maharashtra.
However, for the selection process there are two separate Competent Authorities. Director, Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai is the Competent Authority for selection to Health Science courses.

Admission
The CAT score by the candidates will be used by the Department of Business Management, University of Calcutta, for short listing the candidates for admitting them in the two year full-time Master’s program in Business Management (MBM). IIMs have no role either in selection process or in the conduct of the program. The short listed candidates will be called for the Group Discussion & Personal interview for the final selection.
