Admission Applicants who are seeking admission into MBA programs in the Department of Management Studies, Indian School of Mines, shall have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score are called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection. A selected candidate who fails to take admission by the last date may loose his/her claim and seat may be offered to the wait-listed candidates. Validity of Admission Candidates successfully completing the admission test shall be eligible for admission for the next 2 cycles for which the test scores are valid. After receiving your result card and successfully qualifying the same, you need to fill up the admission form given. Registration for the program shall be valid for 5 years from the date of admission. Admission Based on the scores in CAT / GMAT candidates will be short-listed for the admission into Management program in TAPMI and invited to participate in the subsequent TAPMI Admissions Process (Group discussion and Personal Interview) to be held at four different cities of the country Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Manipal. CAT is used only for short-listing the candidates and it is not the final step of admission procedure in the Institute. IIM has no role in the selection process or conduct of the PGDM program.
