Exam Pattern
Selection is based on merit in competitive entrance exam in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For qualifying the test 50% marks are required (25% in case of SC/ST, 35% for sports, children/grand children of political sufferers, handicapped, 1984 riot affected).
Exam Pattern and Syllabus The IMS-BHU, Varanasi conducts All India Entrance Examination for admission to different courses. For exact pattern of Entrance Examination and Syllabus, please see the information brochure after Notification issued by the University/Institute for the same.
Exam Pattern The test is conducted at Pondicherry and consists of 80 objective type questions in Physics & Chemistry and 10 questions in Biology (Zoology & Botany). The result is notified in leading newspapers and displayed in the College. Merit in JET and marks obtained in the qualifying exam; both of them are given equal weightage. Exam Pattern For the admissions to the above courses for the academic year 2005-06, they will conduct AICET on Saturday, 30th April, 2005. The AICET-2005 will be of three hours duration. There will be one question paper for the CET consisting 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ's), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking.

Test Pattern The test hour of the exam is 2 hours. The test will consist of 150 questions (objective /multiple choice types) and it will consist of the following sections: Verbal communication Logical reasoning Quantitative ability Data interpretation ability General business environment awareness There is negative marking for incorrect answers. For a wrong answer to a question, 25% of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted. The pattern of question paper is also subject to change in time to time.
Exam Pattern The UPMCAT Test consists of multiple choice objective type questions to test the Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical & Abstract Reasoning and Knowledge of Current Affairs. The test is divided into four sections. Section A Test of proficiency in English Language. The questions cover grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, relationship between words and phrases and comprehension of passages. Section B Test of Numerical Aptitude based on general mathematics, numerical calculation, arithmetic, simple algebra and geometry. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Management Aptitude Test –MAT is a popular national entrance test among the management aspirants. This test is conducted by the Centre for Management Services (CMS) of All India Management Association (AIMA). Institutes offering PG program in management and allied subjects generally participate in this exam. All management institutes that participate in MAT are either AICTE (All Indian Council for Technical Education) approved or affiliated to universities. Joint Entrance Exam Test - JMET Introduction - Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) is the first step in the process of seeking admission to the 2-Year full time Post-Graduate Degree Programs in Management offered by the IITs & IISc.
