AMU-CAT : Test Pattern

Test Pattern A combined admission Test is conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh for admission into Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) programme of Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology. For admission into B.Tech. courses, candidates are required to appear in Paper – I, but for B. Arch. Course, candidates are required to appear into Paper – I and Paper – II, both. UP-CPMT : Examination Pattern

Examination Pattern Selection is on merit in CPMT in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology carrying 300 marks in each paper and is of 2-1/2 hours duration each. The questions are of objective type and the standard is of Intermediate. There's an additional paper of Hindi. However, marks secured in this paper are not added in Merit List. Candidates are required to obtain 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Science subject and 35% marks in Hindi/English to qualify the Test.
