Approximate 20% additional candidates wherever available in Cat No 36 - Depot Material Supdt - I is being called provisionally for documents and candidature verification. The additional candidates are being called over and above the number of vacancies primarily to avoid shortfall in the panel due to absenteeism of selected candidates etc. if any. It should be noted by the candidates that merely calling for the verification of documents and genuineness of candidature does not in any way, entitle them for an empanellment / appointment in Railways.
Document and Candidature verification for all the above candidates will be held on 03/03/2008 at RRB, Bhopal for 09.30 hrs.
Document and Candidature verification on candidates must bring their two recent photographs and all original certificates i.e. qualification including certificate showing the desirable qualification for the post along with other Educational certificate (sessions wise mark-sheet), Caste certificate, Date of Birth certificate, Discharge Certificate for Ex-SM etc. and also their zerox copies attested by Gazetted Officer and call letter of On-Line examination. Candidates must bring Diploma/Degree etc. certificate of respective discipline. Candidates must possess the qualifying educational qualification on the date of original application. SC, ST & OBC candidates must bring their Caste Certificate in prescribed proforma according to employment notification and issued by competent authority. In case of OBC candidates, the Caste certificates should be current according to Central Govt. list and should not be more than one year old. The certificate should have clause of non-creamy layer.

Counselling
Based on the UP-SEE test score/merit/ranks, the centralized counselling is conducted on-line through Internet in two phases.
In Phase-I, which will be off-campus on-line, the candidates can exercise their choices at place of their convenience to know about indicative choice allotment at frequent intervals.
Phase-II will be on-campus on-line, where eligible candidates will be required to report at pre-specified counselling centres for registration and final choice submission. The counselling is conducted at different counselling centres and also be available on the website.
Exam Pattern
The test is conducted at Pondicherry and consists of 80 objective type questions in Physics & Chemistry and 10 questions in Biology (Zoology & Botany). The result is notified in leading newspapers and displayed in the College.
Merit in JET and marks obtained in the qualifying exam; both of them are given equal weightage.

Eligibility
Age: 17 year as on December 31 of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification: All Punjab residents who have passed senior secondary (10+2) exam securing at least 50% (for SC/ST 45%) aggregate, marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together.
Those awaiting the result of qualifying exam may also apply. Medical fitness is also necessary.
