Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a common written test required for the admission processes of Symbiosis Post Graduate Institutes. It is a mandatory test for admission into any PG program in Symbiosis. This test being the first step towards admission, each Symbiosis Institute has its own selection procedure. However, it is only the first step of the admission procedures of Symbiosis. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process.
This test is held in more than twenty cities all over India and the score of the SNAP Test is used to shortlist candidates for individual selection process such as Group Discussion, Personal Interview etc.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE)
Introduction
GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an All-India Examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT’s). This test is conducted on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. GATE is a passport for admission into ME and MTech courses in almost all the colleges / institutes / universities of the country. ME / MTech is a three semester programme and admission to these programmes largely depends upon GATE percentile score.

Students wishing to join the programs offered in the National Law University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan shall have to undergo an Entrance Test conducted for each program separately in a unified Examination, NET-Rajasthan. The students desiring for competing in the courses shall have a choice of competing for one or all courses.
The admission test question paper shall be prepared to test the skills of the candidates in the following areas:
a. Linguistic ability
b. Analytical skills
c. Level of quantum of information
d, Mathematical aptitude
e. Legal reasoning
f. Aptitude for learning law

The admission is based on the Entrance Test i.e. HP-CMAT that comprises of:

Management Aptitude Test (multiple choice Questions)
Group discussion
Personal interview.
The Aptitude Test will have four sections:
English Comprehension
Reasoning
Business Environment
Arithmetic Comprehension & Data Interpretation.
Each section will have about fifty (50) questions.
The performance in HP-CMAT is the basis for screening the candidates for group discussion and personal interview. Normally, three candidates for each seat are called for group discussion and personal interview.

NET is abbreviated for National Entrance Test. The test is conducted by the National Law University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It is the fifth National University for Legal Education in the country following the institutions at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhopal and Kolkata. Combined Aptitude Test, Maharashtra
Combined Aptitude Test is a Common Entrance test for admission into the courses MBBS, BDS, BE, B.Arch, MCA, MBA that are offered in the Colleges / Institutes / University Departments located in the state of Maharashtra. Question Papers for IIT-JEE:The examination consists of three separate papers in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, each of two hours duration. The questions in these papers are objective type, which are to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using HB pencils only. There is negative marking for Incorrect answers
Language of Question Papers for IIT-JEE: A candidate can opt for Question Papers either in English or in Hindi.
Use of calculators and log tables is NOT permitted in IIT-JEE.
Aptitude Test for B. Arch. and B. Des. Courses: The candidates called for counselling and desirous of joining the B. Arch.

UAJET Test comprises of objective type questions to test the verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logical and abstract reasoning & knowledge of current affairs. The following is a brief description of contents of the test paper.
English Language: The questions cover grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, relationship between words and phrases and comprehension of passages.
Quantitative Aptitude: It consists of a test of numerical aptitude based on general mathematics, numerical calculation, arithmetic, simple algebra and geometry. This also tests the ability to interpret common graphs, charts and tables.
