Examination Pattern
Selection is on merit in CPMT in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology carrying 300 marks in each paper and is of 2-1/2 hours duration each. The questions are of objective type and the standard is of Intermediate. There’s an additional paper of Hindi. However, marks secured in this paper are not added in Merit List. Candidates are required to obtain 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Science subject and 35% marks in Hindi/English to qualify the Test.

Eligibility
Nationality/Domicile: The applicant should be a citizen of India and a bonafide (Permanent) resident of the State of Uttar Pradesh .
Age: The Candidate must have attained 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification: The Candidate should have passed or appeared/appearing in 10+2 / Intermediate (12th) of UP Board or any other Board / University or an equivalent examination with Physics Chemistry and Biology. For more details refer to information brochure.

There are reservation of seats in all the Medical colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh for different categories viz; schedule caste, schedule tribes, other backward classes etc.

Pattern of CEED examination / Structure of CEED Examination
CEED examination tests drawing skills, aesthetic sensibility, creativity, problem identification and approach to visual and mechanical design.
The examination also tests visualization, creativity, design and general awareness, and comprehension.

The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) consists of objective type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (Combined). The syllabus of Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is almost same to the class XI and class XII of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) course. The level of questions may be high.

Scheme / Pattern of All India Competitive Examination
All India Competitive Examination (AICE) of ICAR consists of only one question paper consisting Objective type questions. The question paper is bilingual i.e. English and Hindi.
For stream A, the subjects composition is Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Agriculture.
For stream B, the subjects combination is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
A candidate can choose any of the stream depending upon his / her subject of choice and eligibility.

Each part comprises of 50 questions of one mark each. For each correct answer 1 mark is awarded. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks is deducted. Use of calculator is not permitted in the examination.
Pattern of Examination
GATE entrance examination is single paper of 3 hours duration and of 150 marks. The question paper is in English only. Before applying for GATE entrance examination, a candidates must assure that he/she has chosen the right optional subject, which enables him/her to become eligible to seek admission to the programme of interest. The criteria for postgraduate admission with scholarship/assistantship are different in various Institutes. GATE Offices are not in a position to provide any information in this regard.
The choice of the paper is the responsibility of the candidate.
Examination Pattern
The entrance examination for CBSE-AIPMT consists of two parts – Preliminary Examination and Final Examination.
Preliminary Examination : The Preliminary Examination consists of one paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 objective type questions
Final Examination : (Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination)
The Final Examination would consist of two papers each of 2 hours duration.
Paper-1 would contain questions from Physics and Chemistry and
Paper-2 would contain questions from Biology (Botany & Zoology).
The Final Examination will have conventional (non-objective) questions to be answered in the Test Booklet supplied.
