Reservations of the seats
(a) In each college and in each
ourse 19% of the total no. of seats
shall be reserved for SC, 4% for ST and 14% for OBC category of candidates.
(b) In each College and in each Course, horizontal reservation of 2% of total seats in that category, shall be reserved for dependants of freedom fighters, 2% for sons and daughters of defence personnel died or disabled in war, 3% for physically handicapped and 20% for women candidates.

The accurate number of seats available under various branches of different institutions will be notified on official website of RPETEAP during the time of admission. Except in case of unaided Private Institutions and 50% seats in the self-finance courses of the aided institutions, the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory provisions i.e. as per relevant rules and regulations of Govt. of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates and 21% for candidates belonging to OBC category.
Horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates belonging to physically handicapped, 25% for women
Examination Pattern
Selection is on merit in CPMT in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology carrying 300 marks in each paper and is of 2-1/2 hours duration each. The questions are of objective type and the standard is of Intermediate. There's an additional paper of Hindi. However, marks secured in this paper are not added in Merit List. Candidates are required to obtain 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Science subject and 35% marks in Hindi/English to qualify the Test.

CAT Score Card
The CAT scorecard will be mailed to the candidates after January 2, 2007.
The CAT score will remain valid for admission to PGPs of IIMs for the year 2007-08, unless specified otherwise. For further details, kindly refer to CAT Bulletin.
Scholarships / Financial Assistance
It is the endeavour of all IIMs that no student be denied opportunity to pursue the Post-Graduate Programme in Management for want of adequate financial resources. More than 13000 seats are available in different engineering disciplines offered at various engineering colleges across the state of West Bengal. 22% seats are reserved for schedule casts (SC) and 6 % seats are reserved for schedule tribes (ST) category candidates. However, 15% seats of all the engineering colleges are filled on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination – AIEEE.

Reservation
Reservation in seats is available in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT) New Delhi.
15% seats for Scheduled Castes and 7.5% seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes.
5% seats for Children / Widows of Personnel of Armed / Para Military Forces Killed / disabled (CW) in action during hostilities.
3% seats for Physically Handicapped (1% for persons with low vision or blindness, 1% for hearing impaired, 1% for those with loco motor disabilities and / or cerebral palsy.)

The CET Cell generally comes to know about the exact number of seats, their classification and categories before the commencement of seat selection. Hence, an accurate number of seats to be offered for allotment as Government seats, college wise, category wise and course wise, cannot be made known exactly. Eligibility
Nationality/Domicile: The applicant should be a citizen of India and a bonafide (Permanent) resident of the State of Uttar Pradesh .
Age: The Candidate must have attained 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification: The Candidate should have passed or appeared/appearing in 10+2 / Intermediate (12th) of UP Board or any other Board / University or an equivalent examination with Physics Chemistry and Biology. For more details refer to information brochure.
Management Seats
Management seats are filled on the basis of the composite Merit List after the Regular Seats have been filled. The candidates who fail to get admission in the general category but interested in seeking admission under management category should make an application to that effect. Rajasthan Management Admission Test (RMAT)
RMAT or Rajasthan Management Admission Test is an entrance test for getting admission into the two-year MBA course offered in the various Management Institutions of Rajasthan. The seats are reserved for the candidates of Rajasthan state and hence the admissions through RMAT is open to candidates of Rajasthan domicile only.

Seats Availability
The Government of Karnataka is yet to pass any order prescribing the percentage of seats to be filled by the management.
The A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, admits students belonging to the following two categories, under the Management seats:
1.Minority
2. NRI/ Foreign nationals
3. General
As of now, the college can admit upto 50% of its total intake under these categories. The college awaits the decision of the Supreme Court of India with regard to the seat sharing ratio between the Management and the Government and also with regard to certain conditions which maybe stipulated for NRI / General category admissions.
Reservation of Seats
75% / 85% of seats is reserved for Pondicherry residents and remaining from other parts of India. 75 per cent (HSC Academic) / 85 per cent (HSC Vocational) of seats are reserved for Pondicherry residents and remaining 25 per cent / 15 per cent seats are for candidates from other parts of the India.
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test - (TANCET)
Common Entrance Test CET-Tamil Nadu is conducted by TNSF-Consortium (Consortium of Self - Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu). The test is conducted for the candidates who are willing to do MBA / MCA courses available in the listed colleges coming under the TNSF-Consortium in the management quota seats.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (K-MAT)
The Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges' Association (KPPGCA) conducts the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (K-MAT) every year to admit students into the management quota MBA seats in 50 self-financing private colleges across the State of Karnataka. Combined Aptitude Test, Maharashtra
Combined Aptitude Test is a Common Entrance test for admission into the courses MBBS, BDS, BE, B.Arch, MCA, MBA that are offered in the Colleges / Institutes / University Departments located in the state of Maharashtra. Combined Aptitude Test is conducted every year for the seats reserved under the Management-Quota in the participating educational organizations in the state of Maharashtra. It is not for the Maharashtra Government quota or in lieu of Common Entrance Test (CET), Maharashtra.

Internal Students- 25 % seats in all the courses are reserved for students who have passed qualifying examination from Jamia and fulfill the minimum requirement for the course and qualify for the prescribed entrance test.
15% seats in all the courses are reserved for schedule castes (SC) category candidates.
7.5 % seats in all the courses are reserved for schedule tribes (ST) category candidates.
Candidates belonging to SC / ST category will be given 5 % weightage in the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
3% seats in all the courses are reserved for Physically Handicapped (PH) category candidates.
