Institute Of Health Management Research:
The Institute of Health Management (IHMR) (formerly known as Indian Institute of Health Management Research), Jaipur is a premier Institute in the field of Health Management Education, Research and Training. The IHME is a WHO collaborating centre for district health systems based on primary health care. It has technical collaboration with the Johns Hopkins University, USA and New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA. These tie-ups provide an excellent opportunity for international experience and assignments. The Institute has excellent hostels, a computer lab, a library, and recreation facilities.
The Programme: The Postgraduate Programme is a two-year full time programme offering specialization in the following streams.

Hospital Management
Pharmaceutical Management
The programme prepares students for exciting careers in managerial positions in corporate hospitals, pharmaceuticals and in international, bilateral and national health care organizations. The Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, has recognized the programme as equivalent to MBA degree of Indian Universities.
Eligibility for Postgraduate Programme In Hospital And Health Management:
Graduates in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks are eligible. Candidates must have taken any one of the Management Aptitude Tests (September 4 and December 4, 2005, February 5 and May 7, 2006 conducted by AIMA, New Delhi). The final selections will be made through group discussion and interview to be held at the Institute. Mid- career professionals, medical graduates (with a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the health care sector after graduation) are exempted from MAT and are eligible for direct admission through group discussion and interview.
