   Dear Sir,
   I am appearing for my 10th board exams this year and plan to take SCIENCE-MATHS as my subjects for 12th - higher secondary exams.
   I have a very keen interest in the heavenly bodies of our universe and wish to take up ‘ASTROPHYSICS’ as my graduation subject.
   Kindly guide me in this respect.
   A few queries that I have are as follows :
   1. Is there an institute that offers undergraduate course after passing higher secondary (12th) IN INDIA ?
   2. If not, does doing engineering in mechanical or any other branch would be a proper step ?
   3. Would doing BSc in Physics is the proper step - if yes, than please suggest a reputed institute offering this course related to astrophysics.
   Kindly guide me accordingly.

    I am a student of standard 10 facing my icse board xams in the year 2010. I
    want to take maths- science. i am particularaly interested in astrophysics, i want to study astrophysics after 12th. Sir, i want to know whether there are any institutes in Kerala or anywhere in southIndia to study astrophysics in the degree level.     i am in 12.i had a great confusion to do either BSC,BTECH or BSC(HONS) for choosing astronomy as my carrer.
