Admission For M.Phil in Rehabilitation Psychology

Applications from eligible candidates are invited for admission to M.Phil in Rehabilitation Psychology for the academic year 2007-09. The course is designed to prepare a cadre of professionals with high quality competencies to work as Master Trainers / Specialists in the field of disability.

The course is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi. The duration of the course is two academic years with English as medium of instruction.

Eligibility : The candidate should have passed P.G. Degree in Psychology from a recognized University with 55% in the case of General Category and 50% of pass in the case of SC / ST category. The admission to the course is made on the basis of merit in the entrance examination. Number of seats: 12 (Twelve) (Reservation for SC, ST and for those with physical disability in one lower limb only as per the Government of India guidelines).

The application cum prospectus can be had from Assistant Administration Officer (TP&S) NIMH, Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad-500009 on payment of Rs. 450/- by Demand Draft in favor of Director, NIMH, Secunderabad.

The last date for submission of filled in application form at the above address is 03-09-2007. The hard copy of applications duly filled in with specified Demand Draft shall be submitted before the due date. Application without Demand Draft and copies of certificates will not be entertained.
