The prayers of hundreds of visually-challenged students in Delhi University have finally been answered. The university is all set to launch a multi-purpose resource centre which would not only have a huge collection of study material in Braille format, but also special studios to convert audio cassettes into text messages in Braille.
The centre will be opened in the Central Reference Library, which will work as an extension to Braille Library which so far had limited reach.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has provided Rs.10 lakh for development of the centre to be inaugurated on Tuesday. The centre would primarily
