Eligibility: UNDER GRADUATE PROGRAMME
The university offers a five-years integrated B.A LL.B (Hons) Degree programme preparing students for the Bar and other careers in Law.
Eligibility :10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks (students taking qualifying examination in March/April 2006 are also eligible to apply (b) Age limit :Below 20 years as on 1st July 2006(22 years in case of SC/ST candidate). (c) Intake a and reservation: The Intake is 80with reservation I of 15%SC and 7 ½&for ST candidates and seals for foreign nationals (d) Financials assistance/Fee waiver/Scholarship is available for deserving candidates
Copies of the last 18 years Test papers in a volume are available .The same can be obtained by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.710/-inclusive of postage in favour of Register, National Law School of India University, Payable at Bangalore .However the formal and the structure of the Admission Test May vary from previous years.
POST GRADUATE PROGRAMM LL.M
LL.M is a two year post-graduate Degree programme(4 semesters.)
Specialization in the area of Business Law and Human Rights Law are offered at present.
Eligibility: 50% aggregate in B.L/LL.B/B.A.LL.B(Hons.) Examination(Candidates appearing for final examination this year, are also eligible to apply).(b) Intake and reservation :The intake is 40 in these two branches with reservation of 155cv for SC& 7 ½ & for ST candidates
Application procedure: For Application and prospectus, write to the Registrar, NLSIU, giving full address with pincode and the course for which the application is required with a Bank Draft for Rs 1000/- drawn in favour of Registrar NLSIU, Bangalore .The envelope must be superscribed in BOLD LETTERS, indicating the appropriate course for which the application is required .Application will be issued from 9th January 2006 Last date for the issue and receipt of completed application will be 15th March.2006.
Admissions to the Distance Education Programmes and other post graduate programmes will be advertised separately .
