Sri Ramachandra University offers Ph.D. Programs in the faculties of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, allied health sciences and biomedical sciences with excellent research facilities besides a state-of-the-art Central Research Facility for conducting research in the above disciplines The Programs is offered on full time and part time basis (internal & external).

Full time research is permitted only for those who have a fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR or other similar funding/sponsoring agencies There is also a Split Ph.D. Programs under which candidates are permitted to conduct part of Programs in SRU & part of Programs in recognized institutes in India or abroad.

Integrated Ph.D. Programs will be offered for candidates who join the MD/MS/MDS courses of this University (3+2 years) from 2008 and also in certain other specified faculties.
