Eligibility Details:

General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) plus 4 year experience or B.Sc. Nursing plus 2 year experience in a large (at least 200 bedded) Hospital.

Age limit: Upper age limit for eligibility is 35 Years on the first day of the month of start of the Session i.e. on 01/01/2008. Age relaxation of a maximum of 5 years may be given to SC/ST/OBC and sponsored candidates. Reservation to widowed/divorced/legally-separated women who have not re-married and disabled/handicapped persons will be as per Government rules.

Persons in employment should send their applications through proper channel. The applicants are required to enclose a bank draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of Director, SGPGIMS, Luck now payable at the State Bank of India, SGPGIMS Branch, Luck now (code No. 7789) which is non refundable.

General Information:
The Theory Examination for selection of PNCC candidates will be held on 9th December, 2007 at 11 AM at Luck now. And successful candidates would have to appear before an interview to be held on 10th December, 2007 in the Committee Room of the Administrative Block. The details of examination centre will be intimated through ADMIT CARD.
The result of PNCC Entrance Examination will be available on the Institute’s website within one week of the examination.
The number of seats/posts advertised may increase or decrease.

Reservation will apply as per rule. Reservation will be admissible only to candidates having Domicile in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates having Domicile other than Uttar Pradesh will be treated as General category candidates for all purposes.

Each selected candidate will have to pay Rs. 5,000/- as Annual fees for the course at the time of admission.
An amount of Rs. 5000/- (fixed) per month shall be paid to the selected direct candidates. No stipend will be paid to sponsored candidate.

Incomplete application and application received after the last date will summarily be rejected.

In case of any dispute, the decision of the Director, SGPGIMS, Luck now, will be final.

One year Nautical Science Diploma courses at SIMS, Lonavala. This will be followed by two years of practical onboard training under “Executive Ship Management” before appearing for ‘Second Mate’s examination. Graduate Marine Engineers (GME’s):
