Eligibility: (i) The candidate must be a bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh OR The candidate must have passed all MBBS/BDS examinations from a Medical/Dental College of Madhya Pradesh OR (ii) The candidates who are bonafide residents of Madhya Pradesh but they have passed M.B.B.S. course from an institution outside M.P. recognized by Medical Council of India, New Delhi. This will also be applicable to candidates to be selected for M.D.S. course OR (iii)Medical Officers nominated by Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Madhya Pradesh (In-service candidates). (Note :- (I) Vide Government of Madhya Pradesh, Medical Education Department Order No. F-5-15/03/55/ME/1, Dated 26.12.03 the students admitted to M.B.B.S. course in 2001 can appear in Post Graduate Entrance Examination, 2007 provided a student qualifies, He/She has to submit a No Objection Certificate from Public Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, then only admission shall be given in Post Graduate course. (II)All in-service candidates will have to appear in Common Entrance Examination conducted by Professional Examination Board. Separate merit/ waiting list will be made for in-service candidates after adding the qualifying marks scored in the Common Entrance Examination and marks allotted by the Department of Public Health and Family Welfare. Counseling will be done as per the final merit/waiting list). (a)Eligible candidate must have undertaken studies in an institution recognized by MCI/DCI. (b) Eligible candidate must have completed compulsory internship from a MCI/DCI recognized institution on or before 31.03.2007. (c) Eligible candidate must permanently be registered by Madhya Pradesh Medical/Dental Council and/or MCI/DCI on or before 30.04.2007. (II) No candidate, including In-service candidate will be entitled for doing post graduation for a period of 3 years, if a seat was allotted to him/her through All India or State Post Graduate Entrance Examination and he/she did not join or joined and left the seal thereafter, due to any reason during the last three years preceding 2007. (iii) A candidate who is admitted to P.G. course in a Government Autonomous Medical College in Madhya Pradesh through All India Entrance Examination, 2007 and also gets selected for Madhya Pradesh Post Graduate Entrance Examination, 2007 is eligible to participate in counseling scheduled for selected candidates in Madhya Pradesh Post Graduate Entrance Examination, 2007. However he/she will have to resign his/her All India seat in case he/she opts for a seat from State Quota at such counseling.
Application procedure: Candidates can either apply through the Application Form available on the specified sale centres or can apply ‘Online’ through the Availability of Application Forms : Application form and Rule book can be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 1000/- (which includes test fee also) from (i) Cash Counter of Professional Examination Board. Women’s Polytechnic Colleges :- Gwalior, Indore and Sagar. Govt P.G. Colleges:-Chhatarpur (Maharaja), Chhindwara, Dewas(SKP),Guna. Gwalior (Model Sc.), Hoshangabad (Narmada), Mandsaur (Rajiv Gandhi). Tikamgarh (Govt. Arts/Sc./Home Sc), Bhopal (MVM), Jabalpur (M.H. Home Sc.), Ratlam (Arts & Sc.), Rewa (Model Sc). By Post- From VYAPAM office only by submitting a request letter accompanied by an account payee Bank Draft/Bankers Cheque of Rs. 1050/- drawn in favour of “Professional Examination Board, Bhopal” of any Nationalized Bank payable at Bhopal. The application form shall be sent to the candidate by post. Such a request letter should reach VYAPAM office on or before 24.02.2007.
