Distance Education Program of PTU aims to increase the Access, Reach, Equity and Affordability of Higher professional education to disadvantaged men and women who cannot pursue their life long ambitions due to various constraints. To apply for opening a learning centre request may be submitted to university in the prescribed application Limited applications will be considered only at locations where no learning centers exist. Interested institutions may consult our state Coordinators office before submitting the application. University reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.

Application procedure: The candidates who are desirous to seek admission under sports quota to B.Tech. (Agril. Engg) programme in Punjab Agricultural University. Ludhiana should appear for actual trials at PAU Gymnasium on 22.6.2006 (five days prior to the date fixed for counseling of sports category) at 9.00 a.m. failing which they will not be considered under sports quota. They should bring the original academic and sports certificates along with photograph to establish their claim to sports quota
