Applications on prescribed form are invited for the following courses, under Guru Shishya Parampara in different parts of country.

SI. No. 1- Member of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (MRAV)

(Two year course) (Acharya Guru Shishya Parampara)- This course involves critical study of original tests of Ayurveda under the tutelage of Acharya Guru in the subject of Charaka Samhita / Sushruta Samhita / Vagbhatta / Dravyaguna / Rasa Shastra.

Eligibility:

A) Post Graduate degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject (Please see prospectus for details).

B) Candidates must have good knowledge of Sanskrit.

SI. No. 2- Certificate of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (CRAV)

(One year course) (Chikitsak Guru Shishya Parampara) This course involves training in the Clinical practices of Ayurveda under Chikitsak Guru (eminent practicing Vaidya).

Eligibility: Candidates who possess graduate degree in Ayurveda.

General Rules: (for both the courses)
the college from where the graduate degree and post graduate degree gained by candidates, must have been recognized under IMC C. Act 1970.

Candidate must have passed BAMS or equivalent exam in First attempt with a minimum of 55% marks
Age limit: maximum 45 years
Students of two year course (MRAV) will be paid stipend @ Rs 9000/- p m. and one year course (CRAV) @ Rs. 7000/- p.m and he / she will have to make own boarding & lodging arrangements at the place of the Guru.These are full time courses and no private medical practice, honorary job. Other job or any other course is allowed.

Working teachers for MRAV and Medical Officers for CRAV will be preferred.

The prospectus containing applications form and other details of the course can be obtained from the office of RAV at above mentioned address on payment of Rs.150/- (including postage) through demand draft in favour of “Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth” payable at any nationalized bank in New Delhi or personally from the office of RAV on payment of Rs.100/- in cash. D.D or cash should be accompanied with a written request containing complete postal address of the applicant. Cheques are not accepted.

While submitting the downloaded Form, a demand draft of Rs.100/- as mentioned above is to be enclosed along with the duly filled in application form and photocopies of all documents.

The filled in application should reach this office within 30 days from the date of this advertisement. RAV is not responsible for late receipt of application due to postal delay or any reason. From the date of advertisement the prospectus will be issued by this office only for 20 days for sending through post and 25 days on payment of cash.
