A.M.M. FOUNDATION, Tiam House, 4th Floor, 28 Rajaji Salai, Chennai 600001 offers A.M.M. Arunachalam-Lakshmi Achi Scholarship for Overseas Study. The Foundation invites applications from Indian nationals for interest free loan scholarship for postgraduate/doctoral studies in Engineering Technology, Science, Humanities, Medicine and Business Management.
Eligibility: (a) A first class degree or equivalent diploma from a recognised Indian university, (b) Secured/Applied for admission in a reputed foreign university for course/research work. Details may be had from the Secretary of the Foundation by-sending a self-addressed stamped envelope. Candidates are screened and interviewed for the final selection. Last date: May.
My name is Anirvan Lall Singh. I am 24 years old and currently working as a principle dancer at the Yana Lewis Dance Company in Bangalore. I am also training in Classical Ballet and Jazz under Ms. Yana Lewis.
In January this year I auditioned for four top performing arts colleges in the U.K. Getting a positive reply from all four was a dream come true for me. I am looking to be the first Indian to go for full-time vocational dance training abroad.
The fees and cost of living in the U.K however is too high for me to even touch. I am desparately looking for any kind of financial help or advice to make this rare opportunity a reality.

I have secured 349/500 (70 %) of marks in S.S.L.C ( Sivagiri Senaithalaivar Hr.Sec.school) Examination held in March 2007 My father is a Tailor/ my father’s annual income from Tailor will be around Rs. 18,000/- My college feeds is Rs.15,000/- per year. My mother did not earn anything. There is no other source of income for us. We are living on my father’s income only. My parents were not in a position to pay this huge amount in a year.
