offers following scholarships/fellowships: (i) Postdoctoral research fellowships; (ii) Research grants. Tenable in institutions in any country; (i) in any other than that in which the candidate’s doctorate was obtained. Research directly related to leprosy and/or tuberculosis.

Eligibility: Candidates of all nationalities: (i) with M.D., Ph.D. or equivalent degree and in the beginning of postdoctoral research training; (ii) senior investigators experienced in research on leprosy and/or tuberculosis who are associated with a laboratory providing training opportunities in these fields.

Durations: (i) 1 year (renewable for a second year); (ii) 1 year. Value: (i) $22,000 to $28,000 per year plus travel to fellowship location, training allowance of $2,000 to host laboratory and a maximum of $1,500 per year will be paid towards health insurance; (ii) not exceeding $20,000, no more than 20 per cent of which may be used for institutional overhead.
